Art for Business

Last year, I mentioned exhibiting at the CASS Business School in Moorgate, London. Things slowed down a while while they collected additional artists and worked on creating a new website.

But now, everything is up and running and I'm arranging to have my work collected soon. I'm looking forward to seeing them all in position and will hopefully post up some pictures soon!

Investing in Gold

I'm working on a commissioned image of 'The Mirror'. It's going to be mounted in a 60x60cm acrylic frame, so I think it will look very vibrant in it's new home!

Welcome 2012!

I have added two new calendars to my collection, bringing the total to six. There are now four of natural scenes, one abstract and one taken from my water splash images.

They are all available via RedBubble, who make very high quality A3 sized calendars. If you'd like one, remember to choose the start date of Jan 2012, otherwise you'll get a 2011 calendar!

Summer Ends Early

The Summer Exhibition at the Freespace Gallery, Kentish Town ends this weekend.

I have two large pictures on display from my Fleeting Glimpse collection. I'm so pleased that one has sold - just one to go!

Please pop in if you get a chance...

Boxercise

Finally! Everything is safely packed away for hanging at the gallery tomorrow. It all looks disappointingly small when its all together like this, but there are 18 pictures which will fill the Lower Gallery at Lauderdale House. I'll get a few snaps of everything in place when it's all done :-)

'The Professor will see you now...'

This has to be one of the 'whackiest' water splashes in my collection! The water has fashioned itself into a  wizened old professor with a long beard, perhaps followed by two of his pupils? Or maybe I've been doing this too long, and need a rest! ;-)

Top of the Pyramid

The last framed picture for my solo exhibition is now complete. This one, 'Pyramid', is also the only monochrome print selected for the show.

Now, I can't wait to see them hanging in the gallery where they belong!

Frame Store

I've been getting my work ready for a solo exhibition at the end of the month.

I don't have a huge amount of space to work with large frames, so it's always a bit of a juggling act, try to handle the prints, mounts, rulers, tape and cutters safely. The next problem is finding somewhere to store it all! :-)

Tentativity

'Tentative'

I love the surreal mercury-like look of the water droplets in this picture...
Completely different to the other pictures in the Fleeting Glimpse collection. This will be one of about twenty pictures on show at my exhibition at Lauderdale House in June.

A Fleeting Glimpse

Planning is in progress for my solo exhibition at Lauderdale House in London at the end of June.

I'm getting together the largest single show of my Fleeting Glimpse water splash pictures to date. There will be over twenty on display, and I can't wait to see them all  in one space for the first time!
