1 in 12

I've just completed the 158mile round trip to Canterbury to collect my work. Unfortunately I only sold one small piece out of 12, (ironically, to someone who lives in London!)

At least it's a nice sunny picture, which is sure to brighten up their home!

Exhibition ends Sunday

If you're anywhere near Canterbury this weekend, please pop into the Stark Gallery.

Tucked away in one of the many quaint little streets near the cathedral, it's surprisingly light and spacious inside. I have 12 pictures on display from the Nature collection. The exhibition ends Sunday afternoon.

Frame Store

It's the last week of my exhibition at Stark Gallery, Canterbury.

When I collect them next week, I'll have trouble finding somewhere to store them all -  I'm not looking forward to adding another 12 frames to the collection! I have a large store in the attic, but with all the boxes and other packaging, it's full to the brim!

Clare Priory Craft Fair

I'm in the lucky (but busy) position to have several overlapping events coming up.

On the final weekend at Lauderdale House, I'll have a fair at Clare Priory, Suffolk, as well as a one day Pop up Exhibition in Kentish Town, London. And, I still have work at the Stark Gallery, Canterbury...

This is probably the first time, I'll have no artwork left in the house, as it will all be on show!

Exhibition Photos

A few pictures from the Stark Gallery, Canterbury...

I'm lucky enough to have been given enough space to hang all twelve pictures, so I'm very pleased! :-)

Gallery Exhibition Starts Today

A new exhibition starts today at the Stark Gallery in Canterbury!

When we dropped off the pictures on Saturday, they were busy finishing off a total refurb to the gallery.
So it should all be nice and bright and freshly painted for the opening, so pop along if you're in the area!

As soon as I can get some photos of the gallery space, I'll post them here :-)

Message in a Bubble

This fairly uninspiring picture means I have 12 pictures safely wrapped for delivery to Stark Galleries this Saturday.

In my dreams, I'll only be bringing the packaging home at the end of the exhibition!

Concrete Tents

I wish I'd had one of these in my early days attempting camping. At least they look waterproof!
...And with picture frames piling up all around me for upcoming exhibitions, I'm wondering whether I should install one in the garden to keep them all safe. Our house is getting very cluttered!  :-(

Freesia Framed

I've just framed up a nice big version of 'Freesia'. It's looks very sleek in its 80x60cm aluminium frame, and is destined for show at the Stark Gallery, Canterbury in a couple of weeks.

News-Print

I'm getting some new prints made for upcoming exhibitions as some of them overlap. I'm looking forward to my 3rd solo exhibition at Lauderdale House in June, featuring images from the  Fleeting Glimpse collection, some of which haven't been seen before...

Mounting Excitement

My mega framing session is finally complete! I now have 11 pieces ready for my exhibition at the Stark Gallery in Canterbury. Although there's still a while to go, I wanted to avoid the last minute panic I usually end up in!

Going Starkers

I've been invited to show a selection of pictures at the Stark Gallery, Canterbury in May. Better still, they want quite a lot of work! I'm now in the process of selecting 12 pictures in a variety of frame sizes, so I have my work cut out for me!
