Fat Boy Slim

If you're looking for minimalist chic, frames don't come any thinner than this! The Diasec process combines an aluminium substrate, print and acrylic cover bonded together, coming in at only 5mm thick.

Signed of the Times

In the old days, signing a print was very simple, but with acrylic or Diasec prints, writing on the surface isn't a satisfactory way of doing things. So, instead, I embed the title, edition number and signature within the image. I write the details onto inkjet paper, scan them in and add them to the image for printing. The result looks as though they have been written as normal, and there is no chance of the details rubbing off!

Here's one more picture of Perchance to Dream in situ :-)

Perchance to Enjoy

I've just put up our new Diasec print of 'Perchance to Dream' on our dining room wall. It looks a bit small in this phone pic but it is 100cm wide. The colours are wonderfully deep and vibrant, and I'm very pleased with the result. I'll be taking some proper photo's of the picture in situ later, so I'll post them up then!

Perchance to Dream

I'm in the process of getting the first edition of 'Perchance to Dream' printed using Diasec.
Above is the print ready to be packaged up ready. I can't wait to see it completed!

I have a Dream

If you've looked at my website recently, you might have noticed some slight changes. I've been updating some of the image previews. It's a slow process as I'm having to redo most of the popup windows, as they require accurate sizing. At the moment, I'm working through the Dreamscapes gallery, posting the updates as I go, so things may look a little disjointed. Bear with me while I plough (slowly) through the rest!

Perchance to Dream goes live

I've now added this picture to my Light Sculptures collection as a limited edition of 10 prints. I've also put an acrylic framed preview on the website which has a gentle, calming feel to it.

Oops! No title.

And the missing title for the picture below is.....
'Perchance to Dream'.
