I've had a surplus of light wood frames, some dating back a few years. There's nothing wrong with them, but I'm using a lot more black frames these days, so what to do with them? Stain them black! After a bit of experimenting, I found a great way to turn to the dark side, saving a small fortune in new frames too :-)

Open Edition Decisions
I have ten small (30x40cm) frames for open edition prints for my next show. The problem is choosing my favourites, as I have around 30 to chose from. Maybe I should do a poll?

Quiet Weekend
Not much to report this weekend, as I've had a bit of a breather! Next week sees some new designs for my website index page I've been meaning to do for a while. Later on I'll be collecting another ten small frames for my open edition images. These will be on show at the next Lauderdale House one day fair on 12th July.

Brochure Time
Soon (I hope), I'll have a downloadable brochure, available via my website. The idea behind this is to give more detailed information on my work and applications for it. Including advanced printing options as well as novel lighting and display choices.

I've been framed
I've just spent the last few days updating my website, which was a major task, as although the layout is much the same, I now have framed previews for nearly all my work to give you a clearer idea of what a print would look like complete in its frame.
It's incredible how much the frame colour can effect the image colours. I know there's bound to be a few errors, but please have a look. I think you get a better overall feel for how the finished piece could look in your home.
