Eurovision Winner

I was amazed recently, that having placed an order online for a framed picture, that it would arrive a week later - from Germany!

At this point, I guess I should be worrying about air miles and the total destruction of the planet by my actions. But, this was a very specialised product, that no-one here seems to be able to do (at least not without getting it wrong several times and for twice the price!)

Just as impressive was being able to track it's every movement; Germany one night, Watford the next morning, Borehamwood by 12 noon, and in my hands by 3pm the same day.

My latest picture is now complete, but it's got me wondering - where do all the components that make it up actually come from?!

Framing in Progress

As I write this blog, I've just taken delivery of a frame for my 'Crowning Glory' picture. As soon as it's mounted and framed, I'll put up a picture!

Green Plant with Red Spiky Bits

I've had a request for a framed version of 'Crowning Glory'. It's an Echevaria Elegans. I only know this because I Googled 'green plant with red spikes'!  ;-)

Pressing Printing

I've been printing some new pictures in time for this weekend's art and craft fair. These are for 30x40cm frames with black core mounts, which really helps bring out the vibrant colours...
