Does e-mail Work? Discuss.

It's bugbear time (whatever that means). You'd think that businesses that offer a service and give an e-mail address to contact them, actually want people to contact them! It seems that this is increasingly not the case. We've contacted several companies asking for quotes or information for services, without any response. I realise that phoning is probably the better solution, but it's not always convenient, and, if that's the case, why bother giving out a contact e-mail! Blah - rant  over. I feel much better now! ;-)
