Affordable Art Fair

We went along to the ever popular Affordable Art Fair last week. It was certainly popular, with lots of people carrying bubble wrapped pictures around. Although I was really disappointed with the lack of photography represented. I know the show attracts a largely traditional audience, but it's a shame to see galleries still not willing to show photographic work, or at least give it the attention it deserves. there is some amazing work out there and I truly believe it would be popular even amongst the 'traditionalists'. A stand dedicated to the best in photographic art would be a refreshing change and as eye catching and lucrative as any other genre exhibited. Maybe next year?
